Strategic Support Manager

The Strategic Support Manager supports operational and administrative initiatives and continuous process improvement for the UNM community that engages with the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH).  This role oversees the development of operations and systems used to facilitate fair, neutral, and transparent hearing processes.  

 Core Responsibilities 

  • Collect, report, and assess data to streamline and improve processes 
  • Provide leadership and oversight for personnel 
  • Develop training materials, standard operating procedures, and internal resources 
  • Work collaboratively with UNM interdisciplinary departments to strategize effective solutions 
  • Build, maintain, and assess administrative and operational systems that comply with applicable laws and University policies  
  • Oversee strategic projects 

The Strategic Support Manager Does Not 

  • Provide legal advice 
  • Make decisions about the issues addressed in hearings
