Hearing Coordinator

The Administrative Hearing Coordinator serves as the main point of contact and ensures all participants have the information they need to participate in the hearing process.  The Administrative Hearing Coordinator manages the hearing calendar and works with participants to schedule hearing proceedings.  

Core Responsibilities  

  • Coordinate and schedule virtual hearings and virtual pre-hearing conferences with all participants 
  • Provide participants with notices, hearing-related correspondence, and procedural information 
  • Manage the distribution, submission, and filing of evidence and documents 
  • Respond to inquiries about scheduling, logistics, and administrative hearing procedures  
  • Manage the virtual technology within the virtual hearing space 
  • Coordinate accommodations (e.g., accessibility or support persons)  

The Administrative Hearing Coordinator does not 

  • Make decisions about the issue being addressed in hearings 
  • Decide the outcome of the hearing 
  • Provide legal advice or act as an advisor to any party
